The key objective of the Institute of Apparel Management (IAM) under the aegis of AEPC is to prepare “work-place-ready professionals” through globally benchmarked education programmes. The first convocation of IAM therefore assumes significance with 55 students convocating from the combined batches uptil December 2009 being the “torch bearers” of this new higher education initiative in the fashion space.  Meanwhile we have moved on to positioning of “IAM as India’s first Multi-Varsity for Apparel Industry” offering International and Indian Pathways under two Campuses in Gurgaon and Navi Mumbai.

Director General  & CEO, IAM & ATDC said

The Convocating group of students have already been in the industry and we are eager that their goodwill flows into the new batches creating a lasting bondage between the current students and the Institutes’ Alumni.  I also know for sure, that there will be many trail blazers among the 55 students who have passed out from this Institute.  We are eager to listen to them and maintain a close relationship in our exciting journey forward.  I thank the students who have come back to receive degrees and diplomas today and wish the very best in their careers ahead in the Business of Fashion.
