With its strong ties with the core Fashion/Apparel industries and ownership of the industry, the institute is able to continually draw upon the industry for both faculty resources and training inputs, thereby making its teaching programmes unique, vocationally apt, industry focused and covering the entire “fibre-to-fashion”, “concept to consumer” chain.

Envisioned growth of the Indian Apparel industry will need over one million merchandisers, marketing and design professionals, strategic design managers, product development experts, production managers and technologists with more in-depth knowledge & skills in the next 5 years and IAM is poised to fill this gap for competent professionals in the textile, fashion and lifestyle industry while working closely with the training arm of AEPC, the network of ATDC’s across the country for industry-driven solutions.
