Fashion & Textiles Merchandising  Undergraduate programme developed in collaboration with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Textiles, and is designed to cater to the growing demands for manpower proficient in product knowledge, design, manufacturing technology for the Clothing and Textile industry. The Fashion & Textiles Merchandising Programme builds upon student skills and capabilities to enable them to become highly employable in the Fashion & Textiles retail and merchandising Sectors. The Programme focuses on the technical skills and theory, required to merchandise and market fashion and textile related products throughout each stage of the supply chain within large scale enterprises. The programme is designed to teach the foundation level of the programme comprising of four semesters at IAM, Gurgaon and Mumbai and final two semesters at RMIT, Australia for a Bachelor of Applied science award. However students who do not wish to proceed to Australia for the final semester can exit the programme after the second year with a BTEC, HND qualification from Edexcel progressing to a final year degree at 167 universities across USA, Canada, UK and Australia. Students can also choose to complete their third year at IAM and be awarded an IAM Diploma, with credit awards to convert to a diploma at the George Brown College, Canada Duration 3 years with an exit option after finishing 2yrs with a BTEC, HND qualification from Edexcel progressing to a final year degree at 167 universities across USA, Canada, UK and Australia. Or 2yrs at IAM+Final Year at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia Eligibility Students who have obtained a secondary school education from a recognized board (CBSE/ICSCE/IB & other recognized boards) in any discipline are eligible to apply for admission. Career The programme will graduate industry ready professionals who would join the industry as Junior Merchandise Planners, Range Coordinators and Assistant Product Developers |
