B.A. in Apparel Design & Merchandising
Apparel Design & Merchandising provides an opportunity to challenge clothing through technology, and in the process, develop innovative techniques for mastering fashion. Such a programme ensures that each professional, although specifically qualified for a particular specialization area, is also able to interact competently with other non-specialized areas of functioning necessary for competent design technologists. The programme inculcates functioning within the context of design and merchandising as a responsible member of a core team.
Duration : 3 years
Eligibility : 10+2 from a recognized board in any discipline.
Programme Objectives
- Acquire knowledge of core design areas, technology & business management to understand different facets of the industry.
- Understand the design development process & its application to deliver commercially viable product.
- Should be able to identify the different markets, buyers requirement for export & domestic sector.

B.A. in Fashion Communication
An Under-Graduate programme that allows students to gain basic concepts and knowledge in core subjects related to the fashion communication, branding and promotion, its related business and industry, and allied studies – related to eventual specialization in fashion communication. The course includes basics of design, drawing, and fashion studies, principles of marketing, fashion styling, fashion journalism and portfolio development. Hence, the fashion communication programme allows students to master the skills necessary for professional success. Students will learn to apply critical decision making tools and practical experience into solving problems in various applications associated with fashion business.
The programme will train students in advanced, comprehensive practical skills and techniques employed for specialized applications in fashion communication. The Programme emphasizes on intensive creative and managerial skills in applied Communication design along with public relations and event planning

This course enables creative individuals to flourish in the media and cultural industries that deal with the promotion and communication of fashion. It includes product launches, store events, catwalk shows, TV magazine programmes and exhibitions and relates to visual imagery, text, information and experiential design.
It encompasses areas such as visual merchandising, styling, graphic design, display and exhibit design, advertising, public relations, and creative writing, specific to the fashion and lifestyle industry.
